CSi Engineering Scholarship Recipient Graduates
Tuesday, May 27th, 2008John Dudding graduated from WVU at the 139th annual commencement ceremony Saturday, May 17, 2008. He received Bachelor of Science degrees in both Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and was recognized as a University Honors scholar graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dudding’s activities while at WVU included membership in the academic organizations Phi Kappa Phi, Eta Kappa Nu, Tau Beta Pi, and IEEE. He was also an officer of the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Student Advisory Committee.
He was a WVU Presidential Scholar, WVY National Merit Scholar, and WV Promise Scholar. He was a recipient of the Engineering, Science, and Technology Scholarship and the CSi Engineering Scholarship. He was on the President’s List for all eight semesters for maintaining a 4.0 GPA. At the culmination of the commencement ceremony, Dudding was presented the Ralph M. Barnes Senior Scholastic Achievement Award (including $500 cash) given to a graduate with superior academic performance and highest GPA.
Following graduation, Dudding plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and has been awarded a full tuition waiver and graduate assistantship at WVU. John is a 2004 graduate of Roane County High School (RCHS) and the son of George and Pamela Dudding.
