CSi Awarded PCB Drainline Remediation Project

A major natural gas utility has awarded CSi’s Environmental Services Group a PCB-impacted drainline and associated drainage system remediation project in western PA.  Work is scheduled to commence is September. 

The Moose is Loose

After completing a successful pilot study, CSi mobilized and kicked off a large scale lead impacted concrete decontamination project in northern PA utilizing CSi’s inventory of specialized scabbling equipment (including CSi’s Moose dustless scabbling unit).

CSi Awarded Tank Retirement/Replacement Project

An major Appalachian Basin oil and gas production company has awarded CSi a mutli-tank retirement/replacement project in West Virginia.  The project generally consists of: tank cleaning, tank dismantlement, new tank replacement, and final restoration/waste disposal activities.   

CSi Awarded Under-Slung Pipeline Drip/Vessel Retirement Project

CSi this day has been awarded a pipeline drip (i.e., Liquid Removal Point (LRP)) vessel retirement project for a major interstate gas transmission project. 

CSi Awarded Vertical Scrubber Cleaning Project

CSi has been awarded a project to clean and decontaminate vertical scrubber units at a compressor station operated by a major gas transmission company.   

CSi Completes UST Removal Project

On Friday, August 15, 2008, CSi completed an underground storage tank (UST) removal project in a mainline gas compressor station in West Virginia.  The  three (3) day project generally consisted of: concrete pad removal, vessel cleaning & decontamination, vessel removal, excavation/staging of impacted soils, and backfill/restoration activities.

CSi Awarded Mercury Decontamination Project

CSi has been awarded a rapid response mercury decontamination project at a natural gas compression facility.  During on-going facility upgrades, the construction crew discovered mercury contaminated equipment and debris.  CSi has been commissioned to decontaminate the impacted materials to enable it to be sold as scrap metal. 

CSi Performs Rapid Response Soil Remediation Project

CSi was contacted late yesterday afternoon in regards to performing a rapid response at a gas compressor station operated by a interstate pipeline company.  In conjunction with major facility upgrades, the construction crew encountered impacted soils as part of the construction activities.  In order to minimize the down time for the construction crew, CSi mobilized to the site this morning to excavate the construction zone limits and identify the source of the contamination, enabling the construction activities to recommence

CSi Awarded Test Trenching/Subsurface Investigation Project in Kentucky

CSi has been awarded a test trenching project in the state of Kentucky for a major utility company.  Work generally consists of excavating various test trenches to investigate the subsurface on the subject property in an attempt to identify any historical environmental concerns.
